• Account & claim info — name, email, phone, business name, city, and verification notes you submit when claiming or editing a listing.
• Listing content — business details, photos, logos, and other profile information you upload or we publish as directory data.
• Messages — contact-form submissions and quote requests sent through the site (including homeowner contact details shared with a listed contractor).
• Payment info — paid plans are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription and customer identifiers; card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers.
• Usage data — standard analytics (for example page views and referrers) via tools such as Plausible and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.

How we use information

• Operate and improve the directory and owner dashboards
• Verify and approve listing claims
• Send account, claim, and service-related emails
• Process subscriptions and manage billing with Stripe
• Respond to contact-form messages
• Deliver quote requests to the relevant contractor
• Measure traffic and fix problems with the site

We do not sell homeowner leads in a marketplace auction. Quote forms on Pro/Spotlight profiles go to that one business.

Sharing information

We share information only as needed to run the service, including:

• Service providers — hosting (e.g. Vercel), database/auth/storage (Supabase), email (Resend), payments (Stripe), and analytics providers.
• Listed contractors — when a homeowner submits a quote request on a profile.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the site, users, or the public.

Public listing pages show the business information you choose to publish (or thin seed data we display until a listing is claimed and updated).

Retention

We keep account, listing, and transactional records as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/accounting obligations, or resolve disputes. You may ask us to update or remove account-related personal data where appropriate.

Children

The site is intended for adults researching or listing roofing businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
