Agreement

By using Find Alabama Roofers at findalabamaroofers.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These terms apply to homeowners browsing listings and to businesses that claim, edit, or pay for listings.

What the Site is

Find Alabama Roofers is an online directory of roofing contractors in Alabama. We help people discover businesses and help contractors present a public profile. We are not a party to any contract between a homeowner and a contractor, and we do not perform roofing work.

Directory information

Listings may include information from public sources, submissions, or business owners. We try to keep the directory useful, but we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, licensed, or insured. Homeowners should independently verify licensing, insurance, references, and any quote before hiring.

Business accounts & listings

• You must have authority to claim and manage a business listing.
• Information you publish must be accurate and not misleading.
• Do not upload content you do not have rights to use (including photos and logos).
• We may edit, suspend, or remove listings that violate these terms, appear fraudulent, or harm the directory.
• Free claimed listings and paid plans (Pro / Spotlight) have different features as described on the Site; we may change plan features with reasonable notice.

Payments & subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on an annual subscription basis (or as otherwise shown at checkout). By purchasing, you authorize charges to your payment method for the selected plan and renewals until canceled. You can manage billing and cancellation through the Billing / Stripe Customer Portal linked from your company dashboard, subject to Stripe’s and our plan rules. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Spotlight placement is limited (for example, a small number of Top 3 slots per city). Availability is not guaranteed until checkout succeeds and a slot is assigned.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape or bulk-harvest the Site in a way that overloads it
• Attempt to break into accounts or bypass security
• Post spam, malware, or unlawful content
• Impersonate another business or misrepresent affiliation with Find Alabama Roofers
• Use the Site to harass, defraud, or violate others’ rights

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, branding, and original content belong to us or our licensors. Listing content remains the responsibility of the business that provided it; by uploading, you grant us a license to host and display it as part of the directory.

Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find Alabama Roofers and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or any hiring decision you make based on directory information. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for paid plans in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnity

If you operate a business listing, you agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your listing content, your services, or your misuse of the Site, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or end access to the Site or a listing for violations of these terms or for operational reasons.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Alabama will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the Site, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
